Finding the right recipe to hit daily protein goals can be tricky, especially when you’re short on time or ingredients. We wanted to make it easier for people to achieve their nutritional targets with what they already have at home.

What it Does

KiwiBot helps users create recipes tailored to their protein needs. Just enter your daily protein goal and the ingredients you have, and KiwiBot instantly generates a recipe that hits your target.

Technologies

• React: Powers the Web app's frontend for a smooth user experience.
• Flask: Handles backend functionality and recipe generation.
• ChatGPT AI: Generates personalized recipes based on user input.

Challenges

Integrating the OpenAI API and setting up Android Studio to connect the frontend and backend was challenging and required troubleshooting.

Accomplishment

Successfully connected the backend to the frontend, all while handling tight deadlines and working under pressure.

What We Learned

Improved debugging skills, learned Git basics, and set up the foundation in Android Studio.
