Inspiration

Having worked alongside dozens of freelancers and small agencies in the MENA region, I witnessed firsthand their struggle with fragmented tools like spreadsheets for quotes, email chains for contracts, and manual invoicing that delayed payments. I knew AI and modern web tech could unify these workflows and unlock tens of billions in untapped productivity.

What it does

KitOps is an all‑in‑one, AI‑powered platform that streamlines scoping, quote generation, proposal and contract drafting (with in‑browser redlining), e‑signatures, AI Legal assistant, payments/escrow, predictive invoicing, and automated compliance into a single PWA enabling freelancers and SMBs to close deals 40% faster and save up to 70% of admin time.

How we built it

I developed Kitops AI with a modern, scalable tech stack using Bolt AI for web dev. React/Next.js for the PWA, Nest JS microservices for API logic, and Kubernetes on AWS for scalable infrastructure. We integrated OpenAI’s GPT-4 for document generation, ClauseBase for legal clauses, DocuSign & PayTabs for e‑sign and payments, and implemented RTL support for Arabic.

Challenges we ran into

Data Privacy & Compliance: Navigating GDPR, GCC PDPL, and eIDAS requirements added complexity to data flows and legal‑AI integration.

RTL & Bilingual Design: Ensuring flawless right‑to‑left layout parity without compromising the LTR experience took extensive UI iteration.

Mocking Real‑World Flows: Simulating live market pricing, escrow payments, and compliance dashboards without a backend required clever state management and demo data seeding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Delivered a fully interactive prototype in 2 weeks, validated by 300+ waitlist signups.
