What it does
KitchAI makes it easy to manage and maximize your recipes. Say goodbye to irrelevant recipes and hello to practicality.
- Discover meals you can make with ingredients on hand.
Optimize your recipes based on your actual needs.
How we built it
KitchAI utilizes several technologies and frameworks to deliver a seamless recipe generating experience:
ChatGPT 3.5 Turbo: Powering our nutritional assistant.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Enhancing performance and meal planning.
TensorFlow: Providing personalized recipe recommendations.
Security: We prioritize your data's security.
Challenges we ran into
During the development of this project, we experienced issues training our AI model to recognize aspects of an image, such as the type of food within the picture that a user would submit. We conducted extensive training, spanning over 50 rounds, to achieve the highest level of accuracy possible.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are extremely proud with how accurate we were able to make our model. We trained our model with multiple layers and achieved a high level of accuracy. Our AI is able to detect multiple aspects of an image, picture of food inside of a users fridge.
What we learned
This project was a tremendous learning experience for our team. Some key takeaways include:
Machine Learning Expertise: We gained in-depth knowledge of implementing machine learning algorithms for practical applications and how we were able to train our model with multiple layers and achieved an extremely accurate AI.
Real-time Web and App Development: We acquired valuable skills in real-time web and app development, which are transferable to various other projects.
What's next for KitchAI
We hope to add more features and functionality to the application and make it available to the public in the future!
