We aim to build a social platform for culinary enthusiasts to learn and share creations that they enjoy.
What it does
Kitchi identifies ingredients, suggests personalized recipes, and even comes with a built-in timer for flawless cooking. Users can connect with food enthusiasts on forums, and explore a vast recipe collection.
How we built it
Using Node.JS as the backend, OAuth2 integration for accounts, MongoDB as the database, and several UI/UX libraries.
Challenges we ran into
API not fully working.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Strong development toolchain, clean interface, ease of use.
What we learned
UI/UX is an important part of a website's reputation.
What's next for Kitchi
Expanding the ML aspect of the project.
