Inspiration
This game is a mini VR spinoff of a work in progress, Kissaten Dream, which is an anime style coffee shop simulator where you brew coffee and serve customers.
What it does
Hand brew espresso, and serve it to customers.
How we built it
Using Unity Game Engine with Meta SDK.
Challenges we ran into
Trying to integrate VR interactions for a game that was not meant for VR from the start. Even until the very end, bugs still persisted.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Managing to get most interactions to work with existing systems.
What we learned
What to put into considerations, and design choices to ponder about when it comes to XR development, coming from desktop games' perspective.
What's next for Kissaten VR
Better integration with the base game, and better use of Hands. Further exploration of its potential.
