SkillVerse was inspired by the frustration developers face with fake coding certificates and lack of personalized mentorship. We wanted to build a platform that delivers credible, transparent skill verification and real-world guidance.
Using Kiro's spec-driven development and agentic automation, we designed SkillVerse as an AI-powered "code dojo" where every skill you demonstrate earns you a blockchain-verified NFT badge. Our Genkit flows analyze user code, trigger multi-agent skill analysis, generate unique AI badge artwork, and mint real credentials on Sepolia testnet.
We learned how agent orchestration and transparent specs can transform software education—making not just the product, but the development process itself a learning experience.
Challenges: Building robust AI flows with fallback handling for demo reliability, integrating live blockchain minting, and ensuring real-time, error-proof user feedback pushed us to optimize everything—for both production and hackathon judging.
SkillVerse is production-ready, accessible, and scales from solo learners to global developer communities. Judges can toggle between demo/production modes, verify on-chain badge credentials, and see our full .kiro spec/hooks showcase.
