🎃 Inspiration
Legacy software and outdated APIs often lie buried like digital skeletons. We wanted to build something spooky yet highly functional that could "resurrect" these obsolete systems. By combining the themes of Frankenstein and Resurrection, we created a system that hooks into older technologies and breathes new life into them using modern AI.
🛠️ What it does
KiroNecro is a multi-agent orchestration platform that monitors, fixes, and controls legacy systems.
- It detects failures or outdated data formats in legacy software.
- It dynamically spins up specialized Kiro AI Agents to handle translations, hot-fixes, and protocol matching.
- It provides a beautiful, spooky Halloween-themed monitoring dashboard.
🚀 How we built it
The core backend logic is orchestrated entirely using Kiro IDE and Kiro CLI.
- We implemented custom Agent Hooks that trigger specific agent behaviors whenever a legacy server throws an error.
- We structured the communication between agents using Kiro's Multi-Agent system to maintain an absolute low footprint.
🧠 Challenges we ran into
Orchestrating multiple autonomous agents to react in real-time to unpredictable errors from old systems was a major hurdle. Fine-tuning the context windows and prompt steering required meticulous optimization using steering documents within Kiro.
🎉 Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built a production-ready, context-aware swarm that can handle end-to-end recovery of a failing server without human intervention—all themed perfectly under a dark, spooky interface!
🔮 What's next for KiroNecro
We plan to expand our implementation by integrating deeper Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to allow agents to securely execute system-level scripts for deeper auto-remediation.
