Inspiration
We think there are three problems with the current paper and electronic tickets.
- the pricing of tickets. Many current electronic tickets are only responsive to market supply and demand, and they do not adapt to real-life changes.
- transaction fees. In traditional ticket sales, event planners often charge substantial fees, causing difficulties for both artists and fans.
- the challenge of fan verification. The current ticketing systems lack a means to prove the duration and type of support a fan has provided, leaving no means to authenticate their level of engagement.
What it does
We created a ticket platform, KIPPUS, where the value of tickets changes based on real-world situations and data. Fans can prove their activities as fans by purchasing tickets, and they receive bonus NFTs as rewards for their proof of fandom.
How we built it
Manage ticket information and sales with ERC1155 smart contract, and store the associated metadata and images in S3. Then, information from external APIs is collected via Chainlink when tickets are used. In this case, it is abstracted by AWS Lambda.
Challenges we ran into
Understood the scalability of smart contracts with Chainlink. Specifically, if the API provider is trustworthy, it is possible to use any existing information as a basis for decision making.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
KIPPUS can solve these issues effectively. By using KIPPUS, it is possible to facilitate ticket sales, purchases, and usage at prices that align with real-circumstances such as weather conditions, inventory, purchase timing, and the status of other events, KIPPUS sets optimal price conditions for tickets, enabling their sale and purchase. Moreover, individuals and businesses can sell tickets on KIPPUS at very low transaction fees. Furthermore, with KIPPUS, not only can the authenticity of tickets be verified, but based on a fan's purchase history and activity records, special NFTs can be issued upon ticket utilization. Genuine fans can visually demonstrate their level of fandom

What's next for KIPPUS
Our future roadmap includes developing the features of 'Demand and Situation Forecasting using AI' and 'Granting of Random Bonus NFTs' as part of STEP 2. We aim to create a ticket platform that offers price coordination based on unprecedented factors and brings joy to fans. Additionally, we plan to further enhance the platform by adding more elements for price fluctuations and integrating with other platforms, making it more versatile in the future.
