Inspiration
When I would solve kinematics problems it seemed like plug and chug anyway, so I wanted to make a program to save time.
What it does
It takes in known inputs, leaving unknown variables as 'None' and gives you the values for the unknown variables.
How we built it
Utilized Python and a system of 'if' statements to receive user input and return all the needed information to solve the problem.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge I ran into was writing all the necessary code all by myself. Also needed to figure out a form for the values of t that had two individual values for t.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
One accomplishment that I am proud of was getting the entire thing done in a way that is simple to understand. Another accomplishment that I am proud of was solving the after-mentioned problem with multiple values for t.
What we learned
I learned how to create Python files for private use and how to be able to export them.
What's next for Kinematics Solver
Other equations to be used for the Physics function other than just kinematics. Potentially figuring out how to solve more complex questions like forces, energy, and momentum.
