I was interested in using hardware or computer vision to make a project. So why not both? There was a video a while ago where a man used a Wii remote and sensor bar for head tracking. I thought, maybe with the power of Microsoft Kinect, I could build a head tracker that allows you to view depth.

What it does

The Kinect head tracker tracks the position of your head and changes what's on the screen to simulate looking through a window. The application allows you to view 360-degree photos with added immersion.

How I built it

I used Kinect SDK 2.0 and Unity 3D for this project. All the scripts are c#.

Coming up with an idea and implementing Kinect SDK with Unity.
