Inspiration
We wanted to promote volunteering to be more than just a feeling of obligation. It should be a fun, social, and accessible experience. We wanted to create an easy way for people to give back while connecting with friends.
What it does
A social media platform where you and your friends can easily access and view future volunteering opportunities, while being able to view and interact with past completed volunteering opportunities. By posting your completed activities, and liking and commenting other's activities, we hope to bring a collaborative and encouraging environment, where those who volunteer support their friends in volunteering through the power of social media.
How we built it
Struggling to code in React and creating objects that looked pretty through Figma.
Challenges we ran into
Everything was hard. Creating app navigation was very hard.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It runs and does not look terrible.
What we learned
Making app is fun. Coding the style of objects is boring.
