Inspiration

As Amazon affiliate creators, we struggled with time-consuming content creation. Writing engaging captions for each product took 15+ minutes per post. We asked: What if AI could turn any Amazon link into viral-ready content in seconds?

CartCue instantly transforms Amazon product links into engaging social media posts. Paste a link, and our AI generates:

• Compelling, platform-optimized captions
• Smart, trending hashtags for maximum reach
• Product highlights that convert browsers to buyers

Perfect for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts creators scaling their affiliate marketing.

How we built it

• Frontend: React.js with responsive design for seamless UX
• Backend: Node.js/Express API handling link parsing
• AI Integration: Leveraged LLMs for natural language generation trained on viral content patterns
• Amazon PA-API: Fetches real-time product data (images, titles, descriptions)
• Deployment: Hosted on Render for rapid iteration

Challenges we ran into

• Amazon API Rate Limits: Implemented smart caching to stay within PA-API restrictions
• Content Authenticity: Balanced AI generation with maintaining genuine, non-spammy tone
• Cross-Platform Optimization: Each social platform has different algorithms; had to create adaptable caption styles
