Kindness Boomerang

You know how people in isolation start feeling very stressed because they are losing their jobs? They also need help with homeschooling and mental health! Somehow, in the middle of a crisis people want to help, even those who are losing jobs want to help too! People want to find purpose and new goals during quarantine because every day seems the same. Australia is facing the prospect of 2 million people being unemployed and the psychological consequences can be dramatic!

What we do is to spread kindness through our sharing economy platform called “Kindness boomerang”. “Kindness Boomerang” allows people over 18 to offer their services and also to ask for help. Imagine Airtasker but for kindness, at the moment we are focused on mental health and homeschooling. You ask for the service you need and you will receive offers. Also, offer what you do and people will use your service. For example, your kid needs homeschooling but you don't know how to do it, or you need a psychologist to help with your anxiety, we have someone for you! Each service has points, you earn points every time you perform a “kindly taks” and of course both of you will be rated, who “gives kindness” and who “receives kindness”. So, what's the difference with Airtasker? Our service starts with kindness. Those “kindness givers” after earning 200 points and high rates will be able to charge for their services, so the community will validate their skills and they will be entitled to charge for their services. What 's even greater is that you can upskill, gaining work experience in quarantine and find a new purpose! Having a purpose in life will boost your mental health! Win win win!

We are a team of 2, very passionate about mental health, kindness and sharing economy and have all together more than 15 years experience in these topics. We have talked to our network and in fact, we just signed up 50 users among our friends and family and are planning to start our campaign on social media this week! We need your help to spread the message and help with marketing for our sharing kindness and employment platform “Kindness Boomerang” to kick off and start helping some people in Australia!
