The approach to academic education that is currently being utilized is becoming increasingly outdated and is not effectively engaging students in a way that truly prepares them for the real world. Instead of reasoning, children are taught to memorize, instead of explaining, children are taught to agree because "I said so", instead of allowing choice, adults make choices for children. This approach stifles creativity and imagination, and does not equip students with the necessary skills to be successful in the future

Over the last decade, we have seen a shift in the education system, with new-format companies and schools emerging that are redefining their approach to learning and teaching children differently. Empathy, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking are becoming key skills not only for adults, but for children and adolescents as well. Interactive online platforms, freedom of self-expression, and a lack of judgment when learning new material are all contributing to a far more valuable skillset in children than memorizing historical dates and poems

We at Kidspace Indonesia team are not attempting to revolutionize the entire education system, we don't have the goal of becoming a global game-changer, we still believe in the effectiveness of offline education. Our goal is to create a tool that will allow private teachers, schools and additional course providers in Indonesia to make themselves known, to look at what and how others are doing. We want to share our vision, best practices and help them elevate their teaching methods to the next level.

Changes in the world, rapid advancements in technology, and the desire to keep up with these advancements are causing people to invest more time and effort in learning and acquiring new knowledge. Traditional education is too conservative and the knowledge acquired is often redundant and out of date.

There are many people who want to teach, but don't know how because they don't fit into the current education system. And many parents have difficulty finding the right place to educate their children. Our goal is to expand the market for additional education in Indonesia by providing a convenient tool for finding and sharing information about educational options for children. The outcome of this effort is yet to be seen ☺️
