Inspiration

I am inspired by intelligent agents used in medicine which save millions of lives.

What it does

KidneyBot receives user's questions about Chronic Kidney Disease and gives comprehensive answers based on authoritative medical sources.

How we built it

I built KidneyBot using Scikit-Learn, NLTK.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the most appropriate initial medical data for a chatbot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

KidneyBot is able to answer for the most part of common questions about Chronic Kidney Disease.

What we learned

I enhanced my web scraping and machine learning skills.

What's next for KidneyBot

I am planning to create an interactive web app with a user-friendly interface in order for users to be comfortable using this chatbot.
