KidKountdown

Inspiration

My kids sometimes need timers. Actually, they need timers a LOT or nothing gets done and we never get anywhere on time. Hence KidKountdown was born. A single-shot Bolt.new project that solves a very real problem: Kids that don't have a concept of time.

What it does

It's simple: Click a button to create a timer or add time to it. That's it! You can have up to 6 timers going at once, each with their own funky name.

Was the kid late getting off the computer? You can find out exactly how late by checking the History.

Oh, and it has automatic light and dark modes. Very important.

How we built it

Bolt.new was used, with a single prompt. This is my one-shot prize attempt.

Challenges we ran into

One-shot is always hit and miss. But I think this was a hit.
