Features
KickFoot uses camera access and computer vision to detect your real foot and let you kick slimes. Slimes enter your room in mixed reality and try to reach the tower. You kick them away like a soccer player. The world is colorful and full of cute Foots and silly Slimes.
Inspiration
We wanted to make a game that makes people move. Kicking something in real life feels fun and natural. We liked the idea of using only your feet to play. The world of FootLandia and SlimeWorld came from this simple and playful idea.
What it does
KickFoot turns your room into the battlefield of FootLandia. The camera sees your foot and the game reacts to your kicks. You protect the energy tower from waves of Slimes.
How we built it
We used Unity and mixed reality tools to place the tower and the Slimes in your room. We made a computer vision system that looks for your foot in the camera feed. We created simple friendly animations and physics that make kicking feel fun. We built a small story about FootLandia losing energy and the Slimes getting angry.
Accomplishments that we are proud of
We made real foot kick detection work smoothly. The game is fun to play and makes people smile. The Slime reactions to kicks feel very satisfying. The story is simple and cute and players understand it right away. People who tried it enjoyed moving and laughing while playing.
