Inspiration

Our inspiration is the many people struggling every day trying to find something as vital as a place to stay. Housing in Canada is becoming increasingly more difficult for people to find affordably, which leads many people to be homeless of struggling. Knowing someone who had this problem made me want to figure out a way to solve it.

What it does

Our website helps anyone find a shelter or home whenever they need it.

How we built it

We built it using Squarespace with a little bit or coding.

Challenges we ran into

As beginners, it was challenging to create a good website without too much complicated coding but luckily we found squarespace. Square space helped us develop a website that we are going to be able to use for our idea.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building our own website for the first time ever. Becoming more independent digitally.

What we learned

We learned how to make a website and how to come up with creative ideas on our own. Finding solutions to real problems by using creative and analytical thinking.

What's next for KI FOUNDATION

We hope to be able to help real people and one day make our project come true. We are also hoping to make a program about affordable housing. Where you put your salary and we will find you a location where you will be paying rent that is convenient to your paycheque
