A bot is a software application that performs automated task and chatbots come under the category of bots that live in various chat platforms. A chatbot can converse with humans so the idea of conversation is primary to a chatbot. ChatBots are not recent Development. They are simulations that can understood human language , process it and interact back with humans while performing specific tasks. For example, a chatbot can be employed as a helpdesk executive. Today , almost all companies have chatbots to engage their users and serve customers by catering to their queries.

Food Recommendations and Spell Checker – In this part of chatbot, user can ask for Menu and bot will show Starters, Seafood, Main Course, Desserts etc. User can also enquire about Today’s Special and bot will list out the updated special items for that day. In case bot doesn’t understand the exact meaning of something , it will again ask for the same and in some of the cases, it tries to understand even if user misspells it. It fetches information stored in the Knowledge Graph database and we keep retraining the model as and when required to improve its performance.

Store Locator and Booking Buddy – In this part of chatbot, user can enquire about different branches and locations in which restaurant operates in. This chatbot also provides info about its origin. A user can also get to know about policies, terms & conditions about the restaurant along with step by step procedures which can make user’s job easier and saves lot of time and effort from browsing through the website.
