Inspiration

Our inspiration was the recognition of norms and habits within the diets of fellow South Asians that may be negatively impacting their health, and the ingredients embedded within our popular dishes.

What it does

Our website was made to help South Asians discover new ingredients and recipes they could incorporate into their meals.

How we built it

We built it using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, node.js, and the Spoonacular API.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges maintaining the data retrieved from the API, and challenges in organization for the frontend.

We are proud of our quick learning and discoveries from just one day of hacking! We are also proud of our handmade designs by our teammate Sai : )
