Khaata is a mobile service that enables people to make better decisions for the services they want to use. We use crowd sourced data to build an unbiased and independent rating and review system for restaurants, utility service providers and public service bodies to name a few. The service is free to the end user who accesses it using a USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) protocol or SMS on their cellular device. The service is sustained through the sale of collected time series and geographic data to vendors and organizations interested in trends in consumer preferences. Khaata aims to tackle social issues such as fraud and malpractice through building and presenting reputation statistics on a universal platform while providing a simple means to provide and obtain reviews on large and small enterprises.
