Inspiration
Occasionally I find myself in conversations where I wish I had a witness to back up the things I've heard or thought were off. This led me to think about how ai could prove helpful in detecting lies and contradictions in everyday life and even in court.
What it does
It takes in speech from the user and notates it as they go. There is also an ai that when new speech is inputted, checks for facts that don't line up.
How we built it
I built a website using Flask and trained the ai in Google collaboratory
Challenges we ran into
A lot of import issues because of the way Flask navigates through files. The training was also slow.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The website is up and running and the ai is working.
What we learned
I learned how to use javascript, flask, and I got better at hyperparameter tuning.
What's next for KeyScopeAI
I hope to patch the lack of connection between the website and the ai, and to continue incorporating more inputs such as tone and outright lies into the website.
