Inspiration
I got inspired to learn new things and get into web development life. It's fascinating to see how websites are built and how they function. I am eager to dive into the world of web development and explore all the possibilities it has to offer.
What it does
The website I built is a keyboard key tester. It has a layout of a keyboard on the screen, and when a key is pressed, it's displayed in real-time on the screen. This feature allows users to test out their keyboard and make sure that all the keys are functioning correctly. It's a simple yet practical tool that can come in handy for anyone who wants to check their keyboard's functionality.
How we built it
I created a keyboard key tester using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on the frontend only. The tool has a keyboard layout on the screen, and when a key is pressed, it's displayed in real-time. It's a simple yet practical tool for testing keyboard functionality.
Challenges we ran into
While developing the keyboard key tester, I faced challenges with the design, background, and JavaScript functionality. Creating an attractive and user-friendly keyboard layout was difficult, and finding the right background was challenging. Implementing the real-time keypress feature using JavaScript required effort and troubleshooting. However, I overcame these challenges with persistence and creative problem-solving.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm proud to have made my first website public. It's a small accomplishment, but it's meaningful to me. I hope the keyboard key tester tool I created will be useful to others. I'm excited to see what I can create in the future.
What we learned
Through the development process of the keyboard key tester, I learned valuable lessons about code and logic. The most significant takeaway for me was to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future. I'm excited to apply what I've learned to future coding projects.
What's next for Keyboard-key-tester
This project was a personal experience for me to learn and grow. It's not for a professional competition, but it's a significant milestone in my journey to gain more web development experience. I'm excited to continue building my skills and see where my experiences take me in the future.
