Team KENARGI Portfolio Design

Inspiration
Teamwork. MLH Fellowship.
What it does
We designed and implemented a customizable portfolio website to include an arbitrary number of team members and projects.
How we built it
We started by defining what the project goals were. Once this was done, we outlined the overall project architecture and determined the way we would split tasks that would allow us to collaborate individually. We took advantage of the Github issues section to record features for implementation and assigned them to our team based off of our team discussions. Once we got a working foundation, we started making small improvements over time and we managed to deliver a better version.
Challenges we ran into
- Learning to use the required technologies, such as Flask and CSS.
- Using dynamic links to render profiles and projects.
- Collaborating in a Github repository.
Accomplishments that we are proud of
- Working as a team.
- Figuring out how to use different technologies in a short amount of time.
What we learned
- To work with Git and GitHub
- To improve workflow.
- To use Flask and some of its features, like dynamic routes.
- To build a webpage using HTML and CSS.
What's next for Kenargi Portfolio in pod 3.3.5
- Add upcoming projects.
- Improve styling.
- Refactor code to a cleaner structure.
- Add relevant documentation.
