Inspiration

All of us have experience with lapses in memory regarding regular medication, because the information is usually printed and very easy to forget. Having notifications actively remind you to take your important medications is incredibly important, especially when you don’t have someone in your life who’s always there to remind you.

What it does

The user inputs, for each medication: The medication’s name, Dosage, Frequency, How long they will be taking the medication for, Extra instructions, and Time of day to be reminded at. Then the app will push notifications at the specified times reminding the user to take their specified medication, and at what dosages.

How we built it

We used web technologies such as html, js, css, as well as some other small bits of open source code to build our interface, as well sa the software that times reminders.

What's next for Keepup

Adding more features, an online sync using databases and a web server in the cloud, as well as making it more scalable and efficient.
