Inspiration

Business cards are easy to lose or forget about, with KeepInTouch, you can start following up with recruiters in a couple minutes. Just snap a picture of their business card, and let the app do it's magic.

What it does

Uses image recognition technology to read an email address from a business card. Then allows you to send a customizable email to that address, to follow up with the recruiter.

How we built it

Using Swift in XCode, and the Microsoft Vision API.

Challenges we ran into

We had to try different image recognition APIs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating something that everyone will be able to use as early as tomorrow, even though we started as a team of strangers.

How to cooperate and resolve merge conflicts in GitHub. Split work depending on team member's skillset

What's next for KeepInTouch

Implementing the GlassDoor API to pull a job opening list from the name of a company.
