What it does

Educates about the impact of credit utilization on one's credit score and sends notifications when utilization gets too high.

Challenges we ran into

Only able to prototype because we can't actually communicate with credit card apps.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Coding a real front-end application for the first time with minimal education.

We learned how to use bootstrap and create a functional UI

What's next for Keep It Down: Helping Young Adults Manage Credit Utilization

Implement it as an extension of banking applications and constantly update the utilization ratio for the user. There would be live notifications as spending approaches certain utilization percentages.
