Inspiration

I was interested in learning the Yii Framework and needed a project to work on. I had recently changed jobs and gone through the resume writing process myself. I had an idea about how I would like to store my information to make the process of resume writing more flexible. Kedals.com was the result of me trying to implement it.

How it works

You add all your information into a database. Then build your resume by selecting a template and then the specific data that you would like to use for the specific resume you are building.

Challenges I ran into

Things breaking that were out of my control that caused me to revisit things. Internet explorer upgrade broke the TinyMCE extension, other sited changing their APIs.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The whole site is an Accomplishment that I am proud of.

What I learned

A lot about Yii (OOP, MVC,Active-Record) , working with APIs, and probably a bunch of other stuff.
