Inspiration
Form of inspiration comes from the tbdex api and docs and what they stand for, I think its a cool project so far as identity goes, I mean, it doesn't get better than this right?
What it does
It basically issues an identity credential to alice using her DID DWN and sends it to her records that can be queried and used later in the future
How I built it
I made use of the Tbdex api, wrote the code in javascript and used git for version control
Challenges I ran into
I think the installation of protocols and creating records based on those protocols were a bit challenging but once i went through the docs again and received some help it was pretty easy to fix from there
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Well, I for one am proud of the way my code turned out, the errors handling are extensive for almost all possible contingency I could see the api churn out, so yeah, also really proud of the ease of understanding of my code, modularity and functionality.
What we learned
Oh boy, I learned a lot while building this, the first thing is that if this project is going live then I will have to use them for a bunch of my projects, I mean the fact that my identity is decentralized in such a way? Who wouldn't want that, equally learnt how to deal with the tbdex api
What's next for kcc-tbdex
A LOT, I am building apps a lot these days, more in the web3 space, so I am going to use this to really build a decentralized KCC for my potential users. The possibilities are honestly endless with this project of mine.
