Inspiration

When we travel overseas, it can be difficult and overwhelming when we would like to find points of interests near a certain location.

What it does

Searches for nearby points of interests based on the location the user searches and displays the reviews in 2 clicks.

How we built it

We used the flask framework to develop the web application. Together with html/css and bootstrap framework, we were able to design the websites. TripAdvisor API was used to find the location inputted by the user, and then to search nearby points of interests at the location. We followed OOP in our web application.

Challenges we ran into

Since this is our first time working with APIs and API integrations into a web application, we spent most of our time learning on how to work with the APIs. This led to less time being spent on the design of the website.
