About the Project
Kawaii Sudoku was created out of an interest in both classic puzzles and playful design. I noticed that many online Sudoku games looked quite plain, so I wanted to make something that felt more lighthearted and visually appealing. I built this project for the One Shot Challenge as a simple way to combine these ideas.
What I Learned
Working on this project gave me a chance to practice basic frontend development and user interface design. I learned how small changes in color and graphics can make a game more inviting. I also got some experience making sure the game worked smoothly in the browser.
How I Built It
Kawaii Sudoku was built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and deployed with Netlify. The game logic and interface were put together in a single session, with assets created to match the kawaii theme.
Challenges Faced
The main challenge was making sure I understood the One Shot Challenge prompt and that my project fit the requirements. Since it was all done in one go, I had to be careful with planning and avoid mistakes.
Overall, building Kawaii Sudoku was a straightforward and enjoyable exercise in quick game development.
