The inspiration behind Kavach stems from the critical need to enhance event security in the face of rising challenges associated with large-scale gatherings. Recognizing the limitations of traditional security measures in predicting and preventing riots, we were motivated to develop an innovative solution that leverages artificial intelligence to revolutionize event security.

What it does

Kavach is an AI-powered riot prediction system that utilizes cutting-edge algorithms to analyze live CCTV footage during events. The system categorizes crowd behavior into three levels—Green, Yellow, and Red—providing real-time insights. It identifies normal crowd behavior, detects the presence of weapons, and recognizes physical altercations indicative of a potential riot. By doing so, Kavach empowers security agencies to allocate resources efficiently and respond promptly to emerging threats, thereby redefining event security.

How we built it

Kavach was built using advanced AI algorithms for real-time analysis of live CCTV feeds. The system incorporates weapon detection capabilities and posture recognition to assess crowd behavior dynamically. The development process involved collaboration between experts in artificial intelligence, security, and event management to ensure a comprehensive and effective solution.
