🚀 Inspiration

Katha-AI (now evolved into Eikona AI) was driven by a simple realization: while AI image tools exist, most are either too complex, limited, or creatively restrictive. We wanted to build a platform that combines power + simplicity + precision, enabling anyone—from beginners to creators—to generate and edit visuals effortlessly.

The vision was to create an all-in-one AI creative studio, not just another image generator.

Katha-AI (Eikona AI) is a complete AI image generation and editing platform that transforms ideas into high-quality visuals and gives users deep control over them.

🛠️ How we built it

  • Frontend: React + Vite for ultra-fast performance
  • Styling & UX: Tailwind CSS + smooth animations for a premium feel
  • AI Engine: Integrated Google Gemini API for generation & editing workflows
  • Architecture: Component-based scalable structure with clean separation (components, contexts, lib, pages)
  • Security: Environment-based API handling using .env
