Inspiration
Tourism in Kashmir is growing rapidly, but many travelers lack proper safety awareness, especially in remote areas with limited internet access. We were inspired to build a solution that ensures safer travel decisions even in offline conditions.
What it does
Kashmir Guardian is an offline AI-powered travel safety assistant that analyzes user travel plans and provides instant risk feedback. It helps users identify potentially unsafe situations like night travel, extreme weather, or isolated locations.

Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges was simulating AI behavior without using internet-based APIs. We had to design a system that feels intelligent while running completely offline.

What's next for Kashmir Guardian
In the future, we plan to integrate real-time weather APIs, GPS tracking, and emergency alert systems. We also aim to develop a mobile app version and collaborate with tourism authorities to expand its real-world impact.
