Briefly describe your project in relation to the challenge prompt (200 words MAX)

Kartsgram is a social media artchive for parents and caregivers documenting kids' creative activities to track their artistic growth and development. Kids have amazing creativity like the choice of color, figure, and more. Looking at the creative work they have done in early childhood is a cherishing moment. However, according to the research, nearly all participants responded that their childhood creations were lost due to many reasons, and they wished to have a digital portfolio if possible to keep all of those beautiful step-by-step memories. Children are also an underrepresented group because we think they are too young to be considered in certain aspects, and they merely have access to any platform without parental help. We shouldn't let such creativity go, and artchive social media creates a space for making such talent endless.

Describe your main design decisions and how they contribute to your product (300 words MAX)

My main design decision is to provide a free and unlimited virtual space for kids to store their creative moments. It's possible to have a huge amount of "moments" needed to be stored. I want to make this function more organized and customized, so I focus on the classification of artworks. I give users the freedom to keep making sub-categories if they need to, which enables the portfolio to be clear and easy to catch on to even years later. According to the survey, nearly all responses indicated that they only want to share their kids' artwork with people they know or keep private, but they are open to joining private interest groups and would love to hear online resources like workshops, socials, educational lectures, and more. I will continue to tailor on friends circle and resources page to make it more interactive in the future.
