Inspiration

We wanted to make create a platform that can bring change to each community around the Canada, so each person who uses our platform is able to make difference in his/her community.

What it does

This is a marketplace platform for fundraising. Users can post and sell their stuff that they don't need or want to sell. Customers purchase stuff from a website and the money they pay goes to the charity. In a few words the idea is to make charity more accessible and enjoyable. The website works like kijiji, but instead of making money people donate.

How I built it

To build Karma we user React and Redux for frontend and Firebase, Node.js, Express for server-side.
