Inspiration
As students, we are often faced with busy schedules, having to juggle between school work and any side hustles we have. Hence, the idea of having an AI assistant in managing our busy schedules came to mind.
What it does
Kairos, a calendar app with ai features that can auto add events as well as suggest new date if there are clashes in timing.
How we built it
With determination and perserverance
Challenges we ran into
This is one of the harder hackathons that we have participated. We are fronted with new technologies such as lynx and devtools. As an android user and windows, we spent more time on setting up than development. I had to try different methods and eventually had to WSL in order to run devtools from github but it was unable to connect to android simulator so we ended build lynx project artifact and migrate lynx project so that we can inspect HTML.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of creating a product that is well loved by the creators
What we learned
We learned about some of the edge cases when it comes to developing alongside emulators. I also figured out that since Lynx is relatively new, there are many opportunities for open source contribution
What's next for Kairos
If we win people choice award, my friend and I will finish developing this app
