Katana Zero

What it does

Grapple on walls and enemies, deflect bullets, and enjoy the peaceful and scary environment of Kael.

How we built it

Unity2D (C#)

Challenges we ran into

Getting the sword to swing in the direction of the mouse. By itself, not a difficult task but making it work in all 360 degrees with animations was challenging to accomplish.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Grappling feels really smooth and the game has a lot of potential for more levels, enemies, and game mechanics.

What we learned

We learned how to use AWS for our project and how to collaborate with each other. Typically, we work independently on projects and GitHub was really nice for Unity collaboration.

What's next for Kael

With some feedback, we would love to continue making levels, areas, mechanics and enemies!
