Saudi Arabian cities have reputation as very safe places. But we think that safety level can be further improved and maintened at lowered cost with smart security mobile apps.
Our solutions assume that apart from the police preventing serious crimes, citizens are self-organizing because they care about their neighborhoods and they want it to be safe & clean. If you spot any emergency situation you can send the alert with the app reporting things like burglary or devastation. Alert notification along with your GPS position is received by other people in the neighborhood so that they react immediately. You estimate danger level while sending the alarm - so in case of serious issues police might be notified as well.
Additionally if communities manage to solve minor issues like for example "catching youngster painting walls" police would have more time and resources to deal with serious issues like organized crime.
Unfortunately we could not travel to KAEC to test our solution there, but we experimented a lot with the app in my family city - Krakow ! I think it is very promising solution that can not only increase the security level but also strengthen the bonds between local societies. Our app server backend system can be integrated with local police systems as well.
