It gives clear and simple representation of the flu activity at various regions and the activity level is updated based on the changing real time information from the CDC sources. The application provides details about the following topics: Flu Basics Flu Report Trend Seasonal Flu The tab “Flu Basics” shows how the flu virus enters the body and what happens subsequently. It gives a basic understanding of the ways in which flu can enter the human body and what are the major symptoms associated with flu. The map data shown as a “flu report” shows the flu activity across the state over the last week. It gives a clear indication for the user about the flu activity in a specific region. This report is generated by using the data from the CDC website. On clicking on a specific state, it gives the flu trends in the state over the past 8 years. The “Trend” tab gives the overall flu activity for the past 8 years in the US. To know the variation of the flu activity in different seasons, seasonal trend is shown. From this, the user will be able to understand the flu trends in a particular season and be precautious based on the prevailing season.
