Inspiration
We thought of the stress that teachers go through on a daily basis and wished to give them a tool that could ease their work load.
What it does
It's basically like having an AI teacher that can make tests and worksheets for teachers, and an AI tutor that helps students with their homework and explains stuff they don't understand.
How we built it
We built the website with html, css, and js, and connected it to Hugging Face for the AI responses, and spent way too much time figuring out why our imports kept breaking.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the AI API to actually work was a nightmare because we kept getting random errors, and don't even get me started on trying to make all the file imports work correctly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We actually got AI responses working instead of just fake ones, and built something that teachers and students could legitimately use right now.
What we learned
Debugging is like 90% of coding, and reading error messages carefully actually saves you hours of frustration.
What's next for K-12 Education Solution
We want to add user accounts so people can save their stuff, connect to better AI models, and maybe actually deploy this thing so real schools could use it
