Inspiration

I was inspired to create a math AI helper, because math is the subject I am naturally strong at, but many around me look to me for math help.

What it does

For now, it is a simple AI chatbot that is specially optimized for answering questions about math. More features will be added later.

How I built it

I built it using Python and Streamlit, which is both a framework and a super easy way to host web apps. I did use ChatGPT to help me with coding.

I was able to quickly create a simple project for my first hackathon!

What I learned

I learned that AI can very easily be a powerful tool to bolster math education, helping all students get better at the subject.

What's next for JVA Math AI

It will be developed further if enough interest is shown in this early hackathon stage.
