Inspiration

Being citizens of Toronto, we constantly see the official news channel Toronto CP24, and our inspiration came just from that.

What it does

Shows articles, financial data, and weather info.

How we built it

We built it using HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

NewsAPI only allowed requests through developer mode, not published websites hosted on production.

Learning how to use Git properly as a team: dealing with merges, merge conflicts, branching

What's next for JV News

We would like to improve on its weaknesses to make it into an official website by incorporating bleeding-edge tech.
