The idea for Justivize started from a real event in our team. One member got into a small traffic accident, felt pressured, did not fully understand his rights and ended up taking the blame. Later it turned out he was not responsible, but the statement had already been signed. This showed us how often people make decisions in stressful moments simply because they lack clear information.
We realised this happens in many everyday disputes such as minor accidents, faulty products or return issues. People accept blame or agree to something just to end the situation quickly, not because it is correct. Justivize was created to give people clarity before they make a mistake that cannot be reversed.
Justivize is an AI legal assistant that explains everyday legal situations in simple, neutral language. A user uploads a document, the system reads it, analyses it using Lithuanian law that we provide and returns clear information about rights, responsibilities and possible next steps. It does not take sides or give legal decisions. Its purpose is to help people understand what is actually happening.
We built the project with both front end and back end. The website was made using Lovable, Next.js and Tailwind, and the back end handles document uploads and the analysis workflow. We also designed an interactive demo, added research insights and created a trustworthy visual identity using dark navy colours, gold accents and justice-inspired graphics.
The main challenges were simplifying legal logic, staying within ethical limits and building a stable back end under time pressure. Still, we delivered a working prototype, validated the idea with users and experts and proved that legal information can be made accessible and easy to understand.
Going forward, we plan to connect real AI models for document analysis, add structured Lithuanian law datasets and continue improving the back end. We also aim to expand Justivize to more everyday situations such as rental issues, contract questions and small claims.
