Justice Buddy

Youth experiencing homelessness are far more likely to come into contact with the criminal justice system. Transitioning from detention facilities is difficult, especially when it comes to finding and maintaining housing. We propose a transitional support program with 3 main goals:

• Help youth understand and navigate the justice system • Support them in obtaining key documents needed for work, housing, and healthcare • Offer consistent emotional support and accountability to build a network
