It's often difficult to be able to get all of your news in one place. Different sites often have different biases, and getting information from a wide variety of sources is important to stay well informed.

What it does

'Just Journalism' allows subscribers can get access to news articles from a variety of different sources. Users can rate the articles, and higher quality content is promoted.

How We built it

'Just Journalism' was designed to be a web application built using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript for the front end. The backend is coded in Python using the Flask web framework. User authentication is kept track of and stored in an SQLAlchemy database.

Challenges We ran into

We were not very familiar with server-side programming. However by the end, we were able to learn some basic Flask and setup a database to keep track of users.
