Inspiration

In everyday language learning—whether you’re reading articles, books, or other types of content—it’s essential to have a tool that helps you both understand what you read and effectively expand your vocabulary. Imagine a product that doesn’t just translate sentences accurately but also helps you learn new words and supports integration with a convenient mobile app. With Just Highlight it, there’s no need to imagine—you can experience all the tools and comfort you need for successful language learning.

Our team spent a long time developing the concept, exploring many ideas. The inspiration came when one of our team members, Tamerlan (a huge thank-you for your effort and dedication!), was reading a book in a foreign language and struggled with both translation and word retention. That moment sparked the idea for Just Highlight it. We instantly knew what we wanted to create and fully immersed ourselves in bringing our vision to life.

What it does

1) Translate - By highlighting a sentence, you can see its translation. There is also a “translate on click” mode, which speeds up the process of translating words. 2) Dictionary - When you come across a new word, you can easily save it with the “Add to Dictionary” feature, allowing you to learn without switching tabs. 3) Import to Unki - Once you’ve saved the words you want to learn, you can easily import them into Anki.

How to use

Translate

After installing the extension, open the settings window and select your native language --> Open any website and highlight a sentence you don't understand

Add to Dictionar

Highlight any word on the page --> right click --> add to dictionary

Open Dictionary

Right click anywhere on the page --> Open Dictionary
