Just Do It

Inspiration

We wanted to make an app that would help students stay on task and up to date on all their assignments.

What it does

It uses Canvas Infrastructure API to get assignment information from the user's canvas page and display the information one by one which the users can then interact with.

How we built it

We mainly used React Native to build our entire time.

Challenges we ran into

We were all very new with the languages and frameworks which made developing the app very difficult. Learning Javascript/HTML/CSS and React Native was not the most efficient decision.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the graphics that we were able to implement and we're very proud in terms of how far we got despite these languages and frameworks being completely new to our team.

What we learned

We learned that it was probably not the best idea to develop an app that uses frameworks and languages that are completely new to us.

What's next for Just Do It?

Our team believes that Just Do It is a great idea to keep on developing, we will definitely revisit this project in the future as we learn more about mobile app development and the concepts needed to be proficient in React Native
