Inspiration

We created Dueit out of thinking about organizational tools. As we are all in college now, we tried to think of every possible way we can organize our work and schedules at a time but it does not work out. It's too bland and boring, so we tried to think of a new way to organize our tasks and how we need to create a new way for us to interact with out work. This was when our team member Owen Lutz remembered a website his little siblings use to learn math, which got us thinking of gamification. That's when we realized we should make a game out of organization of our work, and so Dueit was born

What it does

Dueit creates an interactive world setting for users to go in and make their workflow, creating a base for the user and the user has the opportunity to go in and make personalized changes. We provide an interactive setting, or a traditional calendar setting so that way everybody feels included in how we want things to go

How we built it

We had used a program called figma to create our Mock-ups, with other elements coming from Dante's pixel art and Open-source Ai tools to create the landscape and characters

Challenges we ran into

Not only as beginners do we run into basic communication barriers but also unwarranted outside advice clouded our judgements and influenced our decision making, until we were able to recollect our thoughts and push ourselves towards the common goal

Accomplishments that we're proud of

At the end of our work on the project we had developed more professional communication between peers so we could work on all ends faster.

What we learned

How to use different programs and how they can interact with each other on more ways than just copy pasting, but how the ratios and image sizes need to be constant across all things you create for the project

What's next for Dueit

Possible development of website and thinking of what we can do with the base idea in a more realistic way for our abilities
