What Inspired Me
I noticed legal documents are long and hard to understand, often wasting hours. I wanted a tool that could make complex material accessible quickly for students and professionals alike.
What I Learned
I learned how to structure user data responsibly, manage cloud storage, and present automated document summaries clearly. I also improved my understanding of web app development and user experience design.
How I Built My Project
I used React for the frontend, Supabase for authentication and storage, and Cloudflare for hosting. I created a workflow for document upload, processing, summary generation, and user-controlled data management.
Challenges I Faced
Integrating secure storage while keeping the system simple was hard. Balancing file size limits, automatic deletion, and building mockups for features not yet implemented were significant hurdles.
What Impact I Think It’ll Have
JurisAI can save time who need to digest large legal documents. It makes important information more accessible and easier to act on.
My Next Steps
I plan to expand supported file formats and add a more comprehensive menu for utility purposes, while maintaining strict privacy and simplicity for users.
